Solenoid valves are electromagnetically controlled industrial devices, fundamental components of automation used to control fluids. The inlet port is normally open, allowing hydraulic oil to enter different drain pipes. The oil pressure in the pneumatic solenoid valve then pushes the piston in the cylinder. Thus, controlling the current to the electromagnet of the pneumatic solenoid valve controls the mechanical movement of the entire valve.
